How We Travel

The Rig

We live in a 2016 Tiffin Allegro 45 OP. We had originally been looking at the 45 LP until we went to the Tampa RV where we saw this layout. It had everything we were looking for: 1.5 baths, walk-in closet, room to “roam” and space for the pets. The one thing we liked about it over the LP was the entryway to the bedroom which is more spacious. As she glows blue at night and seems bigger on the inside, her name is “Tardis” (see definition here).

We liked this layout better than any other layout we saw because of the wide space between the kitchen and the bedroom (it is suited for wheelchairs better than other rigs). We like the separation between the kitchen and living room and specifically looked this type of layout.

The Toad

A Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock Unlimited . The color is Granite which we came to find out was tough to find! Luckily, we located one in Tampa, FL, called the dealership before moving down and said “SOLD”.2016-08-27 17_08_13-Jeep - Build & Price - Packages

We had a 2 door Wrangler Rubicon (aka “Red”) for a number of years. We found that while fine for the two of us, there wasn’t much cargo space (even groceries was difficult) and carting dogs, cats or both would’ve been tough as the primary transportation. It still puts the “fun” in functional.
